Casa Flores owner Fernando Gómez believes in the power of education to break the cycle of poverty, empower young people to realize their dreams, help support their families, and grow as human beings. Please help us make a difference in the lives of young people in the Lake Chapala area. In addition to being regular volunteers, Fernando makes monthly donations to three area charities.

The school, located in Jocotepec and serving the entire Lake Chapala area, is an all-volunteer, non-profit charitable organization.

With many fundraising events year-round, there are many opportunities to add your unique talents to any of numerous fun projects. Volunteers are also needed to share their knowledge in crafts, library management skills, etc. Volunteers and donations are always welcome. Villa Infantil is a home for abused, abandoned, or orphaned children on the southern shore of Lake Chapala. Here you will find a loving family of 24 children from the ages of 4 to 16 and their dedicated caretakers. The home is totally dependent on donations to allow it to function.
