Casa Flores Ajijic, Bed & Breakfast - Guest Testimonials

"We just wanted to take the opportunity to say how much we enjoyed your beautiful B&B. The Casa de las Flores (so aptly named) is a perfect little piece of paradise! Of course, a B&B is only as welcoming as its hosts, and you -- Steve and Fernando -- made Ajijic feel like home. Thanks again,"

Samantha Villarreal and June Ginn

"This Bed & Breakfast is suitably named, the entire property is an oasis of colorful flowers and plants, the ideal location, just minutes walk to the village square, shopping and restaurants but tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets, this is the ideal place to relax and enjoy.

The rooms are fabulous, there’s nothing better than spending the day drinking margaritas by the pool and then nestled in your private room at night with luxurious sheets, feather down duvets and a flat screen television and DVD player.

With our choice of breakfast menus and dining times, we enjoyed sitting under the terrace, eating a delicious meal and talking with the hosts Steve and Fernando, these gentlemen know how to entertain, with these guys, watching paint dry would be fun!!! It was a pleasure to stay there and we will return to Casa Flores every chance we get."

Carey, Toronto

Casa de las Flores is paradise. Fernado is a wonderful cook and attentive to your needs. Steve is full of fun and just a bit naughty. The other guests who were there added to the enjoyment. Thumbs up, five stars, and in the words of the Governor of California..." I'll be back."

Marg DeCourcy, British Columbia.

"I went to Casa de Las Flores to get away and relax and this is just what I got. I felt like I arrived in paradise, the town is so charming and the Casa de las Flores is amazing. The flowers, the sound of the birds, the smell of that lemon tree, the warm pool and the comfortable long chairs made me feel so relax I didn’t want to leave.

The suite I had was incredible with a private little garden where I could have my cocktail before dinner. Steve and Fernando are the best hosts and they even lit the fire place in my suite at night. If you need to get away from the noise and stress of the big city this is the place to go. I recommend it to all my friends. Great job guys!

Take care and hope to see you soon."

"First of all, the B & B is beautiful; the pool area with its magnificent plantings and comfortable chairs with a view to die for.

The convenient location was a pleasure. We were able to walk everywhere in the village.

Our room was fabulous, with the large fireplace and private terrace just outside. And we only had to walk a few feet and we were at the pool. We loved sitting on the dining terrace, overlooking the pool, for our delicious breakfasts

Our hostess, Ms. Kika was very gracious, and her punk rock purple mohawk was very becoming, even on the sweet little pup that she is.

We can't wait to come back again, this July, for another wonderful vacation. You men are the most gracious hosts. It is almost like coming to our own private getaway. (Of course, having Fernando swimming laps in the pool is icing on the cake. Steve, you're no slouch either)."

Fondly,

Richard Sinovoi and Elliott Gould

"Exceeding ALL Expectations - I am not generally a fan of B&Bs but Casa des Flores is, to me, more like an award winning boutique hotel with a welcoming, comfortable, relaxed ambiance that I have never experienced before.

Steve & Fernando made us feel like we truly were their "guests," not their "clients." They have such a relaxed grace about them that it might take one a day or so to realize how attentive they are to their guests and to the operation of their enterprise. Well done, lads; very well done!"

David, Berkeley, California

" Charm, style, elegance, passion and warmth. Village news and some hilarious moments! You shared an intimacy of nurturing and affection rarely experienced. The energy flow from the garden flora radiated all your love."

Carole Stern, Toronto

"Hola my Tres Amigos (Steve/Fernando/Kiki) Just a note to say 'gracias' for a memorable 5 days!! We so appreciated your lovely place, comfy rooms, great location, etc. - but mostly your kindness as we explored Ajijic and the area and the homey atmosphere you created for us! Hoping to see you all again in January!"

Conne Sell and Henny Armenta

"Are U kidding... they were... fantastic! They even picked me up from the street corner. No Exaggeration, at 10 PM while I sat huddled waiting for a lost husband. Steve, the ambassador in his sing song Irish voice, reached out to me... as though nothing was out of the ordinary and asked, “hey, is that you Jeannie... need a lift?”

Our Saviours’... and it is in that vein of hospitality, with the way rooms yell out to you to come in, get comfy and float thru time in a peaceful ambience of solitude and a folklorica."

Jeannie

"I am happy to recommend your place. We found the rooms well equipped and clean, the garden beautiful and yourself and Fernando anxious to meet whatever needs we had. If we had a chance to do it again, we would."
